Green Lentils

Overview

Green Lentils are large and flat, taking longer to cook but retaining their shape. They have a soft, mealy texture with a warm flavor, perfect for soups, bakes, and side dishes. Nuragro exports whole seed varieties mainly from Australia, Turkey, and Canada.

Canadian-grown Green Lentils have an average protein content of 29%. Traditionally, they are used in soups and stews. Cooking quality is a key criterion. With growing demand, Green Lentils are now exported to Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
